About SAMPARK

SAMPARK 2025, IEEE Gujarat section's annual networking event: Conneting Minds, Fostering Collaboration, Competition and Growth Among Skilled Innovators. It will be taking place on 16th February 2025, and will be attended by IEEE Student Branches of Universities as well as Professors and Young Professionals from across Gujarat.

The main aim of this event is to share the yearly plan of Gujarat Section of Executive committee along with networking and socializing amongst the IEEE student branches spread across all over Gujarat, in order to strengthen partnerships and produce fruitful collaborations and thus have a united plan of action for the upcoming year. The total headcount is expected to be at least 300 students from universities across Gujarat. Moreover, the IEEE SCET Student Branch has 125 volunteers which will also join for the event.

This year Sarvajanik College of Engineering and University has been selected as the host for “SAMPARK-2025”, and it will be an extraordinary opportunity for students from various fields of study consisting of all circuit branches, irrespective if they are IEEE members or non - members. It will be very beneficial to have exposure to such a state level event. To add a further charm to this event, we would like to reach out to you to be a part of this event and join hands with us as sponsors for this event.

2020-2021: Awarded Most Promising Branch among 30 active branches for outstanding events like:

Multidimensional Signal Processing Cup (MSP CuP 2021).
Data Science Challenge (DSC 1.0).
Code Vita contest and Young Professional membership drive.

2021-2022: Won Best Student Branch Award across 30 Gujarat branches.
2022-2023: Secured Best Student Branch Award for the second consecutive year.
2024:

Won Best SB in SAC Activity at Silver Oak University (among 50+ SPS SBCs). Highest Performing SPS Award at the Student Chapter Congress (SCC).

KeyNote Session

An addressal by the speakers from Gujarat Section and an Award ceremony which felicitates the Best Student Branch Award, Membership Development Award, Emerging Student Branch Award, and Special Mention Award for their contribution in the past year.

Poster Presentation

All the SBs are requestedd to be part of poster presentation of your own student branch. In this presentation, the students from different colleges will bring a poster which includes past year activities and future activities roadmap.The yearly calendar for 2025 is presented in front of the Gujarat section team.

Startup & Innovation

Join an insightful session where industry experts and entrepreneurs share guidance on launching a startup, overcoming challenges, and fostering innovation. Topics include: Starting a Startup: Turning ideas into businesses. IPR's Role: Protecting intellectual property for long-term success. Innovation & Growth: Staying competitive and scaling effectively. Don't miss this chance to gain expert advice, connect with peers, and fuel your entrepreneurial journey!

Mental Health Awareness Session

This session focuses on the importance of mental health and well-being. Students will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, activities, and workshops aimed at promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and providing practical strategies for managing stress and improving overall well-being.

Datathon

The Project Competition, held alongside the Poster Presentation, includes three categories:

Software: Students are provided with a dataset and requested to apply any ML-DL model and report the accuracy. Problem Statements and Guidelines
Hardware: A problem statement related to IoT or similar tech is provided, with projects adhering to set rules. Problem Statements and Guidelines

Networking, Fun Games and Jamming Session

This is duly beneficial to the students as they can increase their reach and networking by meeting different students from various colleges in different fields of study. Along with this, there are some fun games organized which are as follows:

A lively musical jamming session where students can showcase their musical talents and enjoy collaborative performances.
WiE Event to promote and appreciate Women in Engineering.

Register

Registration Guidelines

Registration Fees includes all sub event Participation Fees.
If anyone is participating only in Sampark and not registering for the sub-events, they must register separately for the Datathon.
For the Poster Presentation, the poster should be 4x6 in size and must include a summary of the whole year's activities.
Deadline for submission of the project would be till 9th February. Share a video clip of your project on drive for submission.
The results of the 1st round would be declared by 12th February.
Final Competition among qualified candidates will take place on 16th February (on the day of the event).
All Datathon participants have to register for Sampark event mandatorily.
